Before the First Game starts, the ceremonial toss of ball was performed Mr. Farid M. Salem, Executive Vice-President for the teams, IT-COM and JUBAIL Team. The IT-COM Taem who bagged the Best in Uniform award. The Technical Committee of the tournament led by its Tournament Director, Mr. Lons Concepcion.

Tagged as 1st ANASCO (Ahmed N. Albinali and Sons Co.) Inter-Color Basketball Tournament, Ahmed N. Albinali Holding Company held their first ever basketball tournament among its Filipino employees with no other than the company’s Executive Vice-President, Mr. Farid M. Salem as its Guest Speaker who delivered the Inspirational Message to the participating teams and pointed out that the tournament is ably supported in behalf of Ahmad N. Albinali Holding Company.
The event commenced last 16 December 2010 at AB New Camp Basketball Court located at 2nd Industrial, Dammam, Saudi Arabia with eight (8) teams vying for the prestigious championship title, namely:

After the usual Parade of Teams, Mr. Lons Concepcion, the AB Tournament Director, gave the Welcome Remarks who proudly announced that all teams are bona fide employees of Ahmad N. Albinali Holding Company. He also emphasized to the players that the tournament is exclusively for ANASCO, and therefore every one of them must give their support to ensure its success.
This was followed by Awarding of Certificates of Participation to all players individually, and the Certificate of Appreciation to BRAD (Basketball Referee Association in Dammam) headed by their Commissioner, Mr. Ely Panahon, and their Secretary General, Mr. Choy Tubaying.
Special Award was also given for Best in Uniform which was conferred to IT-COM Team.
There were two games that were held during the opening which is between the IT-COM versus JUBAIL Team in the First Game, which the latter won by 67-29, followed by the NEW CAMP versus NEW WORKSHOP in the Second Game which is a tight fight with only 9 points lead by New Workshop over its opponent New Camp in 61-59 result of the game to cap their first win in the tournament.
The games are scheduled every Thursday that will start at 6:30 PM for the first game and 8:00 PM for the second game.
In behalf of Filipino employees of Ahmad N. Albinali Holding Company, Mr. Lons Concepcion expressed their heartfelt thanks to the owner of the company, Sheikh Samir A. Albinali and Sheikh Bassam A. Albinali, for making the tournament possible.
Likewise, to the unwavering support of the committees, to Mr. Farid Salem, Executive Vice-President, to Mr. Mahmoud Aziz, who served as the Tournament Adviser, and to Mr. Tyrone Valangenberg of company’s Catering Division for accommodating Ma’aden and Jubail Team to participate in the event.
