Handog Pasasalamat Para kay Ambassador Villamor

Max Bringula (Abante ME Edition, 27 October 2010)

He was a very active Ambassador, frequently visiting the various parts of the Eastern Region and attends to the concerns of the leaders and the community here, without too much Protocols. He is very approachable. We would like to thank him for all his support to the projects for the community of the various groups in the Eastern Region. We wish him all the best!”

My dear friend, on me, you have dropped a bombshell
So I knew that soon it is going to be a moving farewell.
When hearing the news, I felt sadness and sorrow
And I have even went so far believing that there will be no tomorrow.
So I looked in our happy days for a sweet moment I can borrow,
to dissipate my feeling of sadness and calm my melancholy and sorrow.
Then I remembered, and to myself I said:
Don’t be dismayed at goodbyes
A farewell is necessary before you can meet again.
And meeting again after moments of lifetime is certain
for those who are friends.
It is true that it takes a minute to say “hello”
But forever to say “goodbye”.
However, goodbyes are not forever
Goodbyes are not the end.
They simply mean “I’ll miss you, until we meet again!”.
And last but not the least –
A goodbye isn’t painful unless you never going to say “hello” again.
And the return makes one love the farewell.
And that is why I do love this farewell,
because I am sure that we will meet again.
